The name “PRIME DECLARATION” is an intentional reference to the protections of free will found in the “Prime Directive” from the Star Trek Sci-fi world. It’s also a reference to the American revolutionaries’ Declaration of Independence as a statement of purpose. Those who endorse the Prime Declaration are basically stating that they will no longer support individuals, groups or governments who refuse to treat their fellow humans with a loving respect for everyone’s civil rights.
