Singing Teacher

I told a friend that I was looking for a singing teacher and they recommended Ashley Rivers of KC Songbirds I’ll tell you more after I talk to her.

I was interested in recommending Ashley because she apparently has sing-alongs in addition to her voice lessons. I’m hoping she can advise me on how we can also have regular sing-alongs for our members (that wouldn’t conflict with hers.)

My idea is that once a week I’d play a series of songs that are fun to sing ending the session with our “Have a Fine Day” song.  Since I wrote that song and own the rights, people who want to sing along with the video or sing as a solo could record themselves. Then I could post parts of those videos on social media without worrying about copyright strikes.

But let’s see what Ashley thinks about my plan.
