VIDEO SCRIPT – The FineDay Academy’s mission is to create and promote classes, courses and projects that agree with or at least don’t contradict our foundational beliefs. [fly in show directive hide title
We believe it is time to eliminate all forms of human exploitation on Earth from slaughter to slavery to mere manipulation for an unfair advantage. As a result, we agree to do our best to lovingly apply the Prime Directive’s free will protections of sovereignty for all inhabitants of Earth. To help with that mission, we encourage all countries to use the Bill of Rights from the US Constitution as a guarantee of citizen liberty.

We call these beliefs the Prime Declaration. It’s an intentional reference to Star Trek’s Prime Directive because the FineDay founder David Watkinson is a writer and fan of Science fiction..
The first big project being built by the academy is The Zoological Youth Education Facility abbreviated to “Zoo You.” It can be found at ZooYou.com where Its primary purpose is to promote a respectful understanding of other species.
The futuristic preserve will feature animals from different Earth environments and different ages including a volcano and nearby dinosaurs. [zoom into wheel map] then dinos
The ZooYou project will also encourage reading because visitors and game participants in the preserve will be characters from various books.
The preserve itself is modeled after a biosphere featured in some of the founder’s Sc-fi books [Preserve Planet I, Preserve Planet II, and the young adult reader Wendy’s Spaceship Ride]
The FineDay Academy is also modeled after one of the preserves featured in some of the books that have an attached instructional campus. David recreated the campus for the FineDay website using VR software.
The campus includes classrooms, a cafe student lounge with interactive walls for Information and a menu for activities like live Sing alongs
The campus also has a facility for student and staff presentations of art, science and fundraising exhibits.
Eventually, the academy will teach the software that David is using to build the content for both the Fineday Academy, the ZooYou preserve and scenes from various books. [Ollie on tarmac]

While David tries to find the time to teach or the money to hire teachers, the academy will recommend good online courses and classes that are taught in other venues around the world.
The academy is open to classes on many subjects. As long as they are determined to be of good quality and don’t contradict the Prime Declaration, they’ll be listed as FineDay recommendations. The list is intended to focus mostly on vocational training and movie making along with some training in arts like singing, music and dance.
Once the academy has its own teachers, it will continue to promote the list of recommended classes and courses to support education and to promote international friendship.
We hope you’ll help by becoming an academy member as a student or teacher. In any case, please consider supporting our GoFundMe page. Thank you!
ABOUT THE FINEDAY FOUNDER

David Watkinson’s interest in offering a broad range of educational opportunities was inspired by his involvement with education at many levels.
Even though David was very busy with his career in movies and television, he spent his spare time teaching. For example, David was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the UCLA Graduate School of Film and Television. He also taught at the UCLA extension and ran a multimedia group at the American Film Institute.
And earlier in his career, David was the Director of Education at the National Business Academy in Van Nuys, CA which provided continuing education for adults and vocational training for high school graduates.
As a young man, David even taught dance after an aborted stint training to be a Navy pilot during the Vietnam War!
